Three exciting new PhD studentships

We will soon be advertising three exciting new PhD studentships to start on 1st October 2024

  1. ‘Characterising and targeting chemo-resistant acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) cells utilising a novel in vitro model of the bone marrow microenvironment’ - Lead by Dr Eleni Ladikou, helped by the two co-investigators Prof. Andrea Pepper and Dr. Fabio Simoes.

  2. ‘Understanding how Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) cells subvert the bone marrow microenvironment in order to develop rational therapeutic interventions.’ - Lead by Dr. Fabio Simoes helped by the two co-investigators Prof. Andrea Pepper and Dr Simon Mitchell

  3. ‘Unravelling the role of Gain1q in Multiple Myeloma.’ - Lead by our clinical collaborator Dr John Jones and will be co-supervised by Dr Simon Mitchell (www.mitchell.science) and Dr Erika Mancini from the department of life sciences at Sussex University.
